Can't Import Upper-Case Characters in User Names

Postby BobTabor » July 2nd, 2011, 1:45 pm

This is more of an FYI than a question. Perhaps a feature request?

Apparently there can be no upper-case characters in the username on import. Bummer.

I imported two test users to try capital letters in the username. I tried "Username" first and it worked fine. Then I did "USERNAME" and the error I got was that the username already existed, so I changed it to "USERNAMER" and it created the new user just fine again. The problem with the casing seems to be that it's case insensitive. Maybe you're trying to import a username that is already there?

Does that help?
