EOT and ccaps

The two choices of EOT is to demote or cancel the account. With all the flexibility of the ccaps, what happens if someone purchased two packages, each having specific ccaps, and one of them expires?

Example: i have a package for a course called Basic and i have a package called Webinar. One customer might want to purchase access to BOTH those packages but bought the second one 3 months after the first one. When the first one comes to the EOT, what will happen to this user?

Thanks for the excellent question.

In the current release of s2Member v110620, it's NOT possible to have separate EOT Times for multiple sets of Custom Capabilities. Each account is associated with a Membership Level, and in conjunction with that Membership Level, you can sell Custom Capabilities. That being said, when an account expires, s2Member will demote them back down a Free Subscriber, and ALL Custom Capabilities are removed, regardless of when they were purchased. We're working to improve upon this in a future release, but there's quite a bit of testing left to do before it's ready for the show :-)
