Paypal Express Checkout and s2Member

I thought i would give this a shot: using Paypal Express Checkout so i could use the option of paying with credit cards. The documentation says: Ask PayPal® to activate Express Checkout for you. ( it's free ). But when i go on Paypal, it LOOKS like it is something that needs coding to get set up. Again, i might be lost in Paypal.

Do i understand correctly that IF Paypal Express Checkout is activated, i CAN use the pro-form, at least to have customers USE their credit card numbers and such, even though they will be going THROUGH Paypal anyways?

I cannot affor Paypal Pro yet, so i can ONLY use standard, or Express Checkout and i would LIKE to give the option of other credit cards for purchasing.

The way I understand it, if you use Express Checkout then buyers will be required a PayPal account to pay. viewtopic.php?f=4&p=21842#p21842

Although i am happy with the setup i am using, as i was testing a simple Paypal Button code but using some of the s2Member Pro capabilities (like for return URL), i clicked on the button, got to the paypal page and i get the option THERE, to pay with Paypal (if you have a Paypal account click h ere kind of) but ALSO "you have no Paypal account? pay with debit or credit card" and there is all the form to pay with a credit card! Now i am totally puzzled! It looks like Paypal would let my customers pay with a credit card and as far as i know, i do NOT have Paypal Pro, nor do i have Paypal Express Checkout.

Any idea? I am not complaining, unless this is a generic form and when trying to go through, it will block. I dont know.

When you're using the PayPal button, you do get the option to pay without having a PayPal account, that is correct.
