Wrong link in confirmation email

I built a site on my server but finished it on my clients server. I did a fresh install of Wordpress, Buddypress and s2member on the new server, but somehow I FTP'd a file that generates the confirmation link when a free member registers.

The registration confirmation link that new members need to click on in the email they receive still goes to my old server...hence the link doesn't work. Weird thing is, they are actually still registered for the site on the new server. It doesn't seem to have affected paid members.

In the dashboard of the new server the site addy is correct. I need to know how to change the link in the registration confirmation email so it points to the new server.

I've looked everywhere for info on how to fix this problem and simply can't figure it out!

Thanks.

Greg

oh...I tried copying and pasting the code sent in the email into the confirmation page of the site on the new server...it didn't work.

Did you do everything from scratch in the new server or did you migrate the database? If the latter, you'll need to search for every instance of the old server and update it with the new one.

I just went in and unclicked the double opt in. I also FTP'd the entire site to my computer. for some reason the issue is fixed...no idea why. I did not re-FTP it up. I've tested it with 3 email addys I have and the client tested and it seems to work now. the registration confirmation email is still sent but the link is to the correct server now.
