Stuck at Square One !

Since the 486dx2/66 days I've avoided being called a n00b.
But I guess this is pretty n00b--ish.

I've watched the first two Youtube videos and figured I could manage an install on my WP-3.1.3,
but from the very outset, clicking on <s2Member><General Options> only returns "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page." from "admin.php?page=ws-plugin--s2member-gen-ops".
(It's doing that with the other options in s2Member too. - All else is functioning as usual.)

Getting out and logging back doesn't seem to affect anything. It's my top Admin level login.

What's up with that

(If anyone needs to get directly into the site to untangle this... I'm on board with that.)

I just found, as did CHRISPURSER, http://bit.ly/rh0TBQ (exactly one year ago, btw) that Publish 2ping.fm and s2Mem won't play together.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Once s2Mem is configured can I restart Publish2Ping.fm without breaking anything?

Is there something besides Pub2Ping.fm that will do what it does?

I sure am asking a lot of questions...

I'm glad you spotted the conflict. I'm not familiar with Plublish 2 Ping.fm, or the one I just found, but you could try and see if it works and does what you need. https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cr-post2pingfm/
