Can people sign up using the regular buddypress sign up process, without being redirected to my "membership-options" page?

The sign up is easier and the fields sync with buddypress profiles. And, wouldn't a new member automatically be at membership level zero?

Then I could use S2 forms for upgrading.

Will this work?
