Users buying access to multiple products...

Basically, I'm not selling subscriptions. I'm producing a monthly digital magazine, and each month a new one will come out. I want my user to go through PayPal, pay their $5, and get to read it on the Page it's embedded on forever. Not a subscription, just know that they paid for access to that magazine/Page.
Next month, as I produce another one, I want them to have to purchase that one too. So basically each month, I'll be adding a Page with a new magazine embedded on it. I'll want those who have paid for old ones to be able to see those, and I'll want those who just buy the third one not be able to see the first two without buying them. So I'm not planning on having subscriptions. Just selling access to individual pages.
Is there a way to do that?

Oh yeah, S2 allows you to sell individual posts or pages quite easily. Just go to General Options -> Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions and input the ID's of the pages you want to protect. Then go to PayPal Buttons and make a button. Just select the page, price, and length (maxes out at 5 years) and put that button in your site. When someone doesn't have access to that page/post they'll be redirected to your Membership Options page, just make that a page that explains that they must purchase pages individually and you don't offer membership. The membership options page is just called that, you can really make it whatever you want and could even direct people to your home or about page if they don't have access, it's up to you.
Hope that helps.

Thanks.

Here is a related question, which may have been answered elsewhere.
What if I want to make it so Users had to be registered and logged in?
I'd hope to restrict how many different IP addresses can be used to access that page. Is that going to be OK to do?

I'm not sure how to accomplish this unless you use the membership options and just create a non-recurring one-time buy it now for membership 1 for x days for example. It seems to me that the selling single posts/pages is a bit limited compared to the membership stuff.

Actually, the IP does seem to work for single page/posts.....missed this.
s2Member's IP Restrictions work for Membership Level Access ( account logins ), Specific Post/Page Access, Registration Links, and other secure Entry Points

How does this work then with specific pages just in general?
If it was a subscription, they'd have to be logged in. If they don't have to be logged in, how does my system know "who" they are?

I think it probably uses cookies like other digital delivery services that offer download pages for set periods of time. You can always create a link and email it to them if they don't download in the specified time period etc.

I just watched the video, so it mostly confirms what you're saying. My issue is, I want users to have to register to read it even after they guy it. I'm noticing that my Specific Page can still be protected, and I have open registration set up. So I could require someone to be registered before being able to access that page.
Further more, for those who are wanting to sell products inside of subscriptions, it appears to allow you to do that. It may be one of those things where you have a product, and if you're a subscriber you get that produce at Price A, but if you're not, you can set it up on a different Specific Page where they get it at Price B.
That's how I'm understanding it.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around the page specific protections as well. In my case, I sell online conferences that each have a certain number of presenter's with mp3 downloads.
I have already done a few but each as a separate website with S2 member installed. But I would rather have one overarching website with S2 member and then add a page each time that I do a new conference.
This reason that I want to do it this way, is that I can create one large email list with Aweber and contact people each time that there is a new conference. And I think it will be much easier for afilliates as they can use the same iDev link for the main site and not have to grab a new one for each new conference website....
Anyway, just talking outloud here. I know it can be done, I just have a hard time seeing it in my mind.
If anyone has done anything similar, would love to hear from them.

I'm just a user like you, but the way I understand Specific Post/Page is you put the ID's in the settings panel, and that takes care of what you need. You can do them individually or (kind of cool) create various packages. I'm not processing what you're trying to do in my head beyond it appears you're looking to do multiple Pages, one per 'conference'.
The video was pretty helpful for me.
http://www.s2member.com/specific-posts-pages-video/I have taken mine a step further and protected those pages with level_0 protection, so my Users have to at least be registered and logged in.
