Subscr. ID and CV

Hello,

First of all, I did search on the forum and did watch the videos...

Nevertheless, I haven't understood yet these two fields so I'd like to get some info. First, when adding a member manually, can I enter a Subscr. ID? From what I understood, I shouldn't do so because this is supposed to be a PayPal Subscr. ID, right? So, if I'm entering a manual ID (for ex. member-001) it won't be recognized by PayPal in the future, correct again?

Second, what exactly are Custom Values?
