Custom Registration Fields Not Saving

I'm just setting up all my "Custom Registration Fields" for a charity site and I'm finding that the fields are not being saved and every time you visit the "s2Member General Options" page the fields have all gone and when I add fields they do not show on the Registration page?
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this error.
