does any one have any idea what this error message mean and how to fix it?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5774518 bytes) in .../de/wp-includes/class-http.php on line 1408

and now i also get the following message when i am trying to updgrade

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8068098 bytes) in /home/paulino/public_html/elsse/site/wp-includes/class-http.php on line 1402

Try deactivating all of your plugins and then attempt the install again.

If it still fails, you will have to do a manual install with FTP. Follow the instructions closely.

Be sure to reactivate your plugins when through. Some may need to be reconfigured.
