Is there a way for the admin to send email messages to the members who have registered?
I feel like I'm missing or not seeing something. :?
If this answered elsewhere in the forum please redirect me.

Many thanks for your help.

Best,
Marsha

I've been wondering about this as well. I know the system integrates with AWeber but wondering if S2Member can send emails without it. It's not in the free S2Member plugin, but might be in the pro version.

No, I don't see this feature in the Pro version. It doesn't seem to be something that belongs to what s2Member is meant for, but obviously should tie easily to solutions that add this functionality.

Like with the email servers, which is what I'd prefer in order to accomplish this.

I searched for WP plugins that allow for this and there are a few, although it'd be a matter of installing and testing them to see if you can use the s2Members levels with the new mass mailing ability.

Thanks for your reply Cristián.

To me it seems like a basic function that should be included in a membership site. However, from past experience I have found that dealing with email and email hosts and such to be a royal pain. Might be best for Jason to stay away from it.

I once bought and installed my own autoresponder system that was hosted on my website and it was a mistake. It was easy to get blacklisted and have issues with being marked as spam etc. etc. - even on a double opt-in list. Better to pay Aweber and let them deal with the issue.

In short, I have talked myself out of wanting this on S2Member!

Sounds like the perfect system would integrate an email marketing service for each level and automatically subscribe/unsubscribe each member when they register or cancel their membership. Each level would be a separate email list.
