s2Member causing problems with Welcome page

On my blog, blog.ipois0n.com, I have a static page called 'Welcome' that is set in the Reading options as the front page. However, ever since I installed s2Member, when someone goes to blog.ipois0n.com, they are shown the memberships page and cannot go to the Welcome page. When someone logs in wit a free account, they can see it. The 'Welcome' page is not restricted in any of the options in the s2Member pane, and in the page editing pane, the restriction level is not set. Is there any way to set s2Member to let pages be seen by non-members? This is disturbing my other plugins like WPTouch Pro, and I would like someone to help me. Thank you very much!

This is the same problem that I'm having! I just wrote a post "Removing Restrictions" which is the same issue. It would be great if one of the pros will chime in as this isn't a worthwhile plug-in if this is how it works!

s2member will protect whatever page you have set in the settings as the welcome page when the user logs in. This is causing an issue because you don't have the default wordpress index but a static page which is the same name as the page you have set in the s2member settings, and so s2member thinks it should protect it. The easiest, most simplest way to get around this is to create a new page and write "Welcome to SiteName! You are now logged in! What you like to do next? And then link to your homepage and whatever other points of interest you have on your blog. Then, go to s2member options and choose the new page as the welcome page.

Okay, figured it out. Thanks for the input chelle but that didn't solve the problem. What I did was simply make my home page my membership options page. I have the membership options on another page and I already have a link to sign up for membership. I know if they click a private post (that says it's private) they'll shuttle to the home page instead of membership options but it works. I need my homepage to be as is since it's part of a theme that is already configured in a template. Hope this helps iPois0ner.
