No 'New User' email sent to admin on new sign up Ver. 110709

Hi Jason,

I have just updated to the latest version 110709 and I have just ran through a dummy free registration. Everything seems to be working fine in terms of emails sent to users.

the activation email for Buddypress is sent out, however upon a user activating their account I am NO LONGER getting an email telling me that a new user has signed up.

I used to, so I guess it's something to do with the new email configuration you have introduced.

What does the new feature do? Is it supposed to send the user a username and password AFTER registration. I'm using BP and haven't seen it send an email with username and password or is that just for WP users without Buddypress?

Could you let me know what should be ahappening with the new features. I have S2Member Pro installed but only use standard S2 options, I don't have pro on the site yet in operation.

Hi Jason,

Just to let you know I have tried placing the php code you published earlier to turn of the pluggables new user notification but if I create an mu-plugins directory on my single site installation it just returns a white screen.

I tried placing the code in a php file called S2-hacks.php in the regular plugins folder but I'm still having the same issues with no email being sent to admin to notify of new users.

Any ideas?

We believe the issue has been resolved in the release of s2Member v110710 ( available now )

We have also included some new features in the Dashboard related to this aspect of s2Member. Please let me know if you have any questions after upgrading to s2Member v110710.
