re: compatability issue with newsletter plugins

hey guys and happy holidays,
I have been trying to activate a newsletter plugin for awhile now. When I first activate and set it up it works fine, but after a few hours no one can get to my site, nor can I. According to host, it redirects to another IP, although I can not say which one, all hostgator would tell me is that it is a Facebook IP.
I have tried deactivating other plugins, except S2 (for obvious reasons) and nothing works, so I have 3 questions.
Questions: what could possibly be creating the incompatability issue and can it be fixed? and;
Can this incapability be rectified in future updates.
For my type of membership site a newsletter has big value, big value drives memberships; so obviously (in my small world) this is an important issue.
Suggestions, help or direction is much appreciated
Happy Holidays to all...
Sincerely
Johnny G.
