registration and custom fields

Postby deepbevel » July 14th, 2011, 5:26 pm

I'm not getting prompted to register when I click the paypal button, it just goes to pay pal. I need to be sure and collect user info on purchase, I'm selling registration for a class. I added custom form fields accordingly but I don't see wheere or how the user gets to fill them out. Any info on this?

The custom fields are shown on registration. If you're using the Paypal button, then the person will be taken to PayPal to pay and after checkout be taken back to register on your site.

If you want to require the person to register first, you can leave registrations open for free accounts and then show the button only to those logged in so they upgrade to Level 1.

WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Open Registration
WP Adimn -> s2member -> API / Scripting -> Using Simple Conditionals

I hope that helps. :)
