can i rewrite the

?s2member_file_download=filename.pdf

to

download/s2member/files/filename.pdf

if it is possible through htaceess please tell me

I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing it should be possible, like /files/filename.pdf renamed with .htaccess to /?s2member_file_download=filename.pdf.

Let us know how it goes if you try it.

RewriteRule /files/(.*)$ /?s2member_file_download=$1
i have written this into htaccces file but it is not working still

Sorry, I'm really not very familiar with .htaccess. Have you asked in other webmaster forums that deal with htaccess more?
