Hello,
I just installed buddypress and am trying to figure out the easiest way to make it accessible only to S2members.
One thought that came to mind was to create a new page for the buddpress urls (for example, create a Forums page for www.mywebsite.com/forums) and then select the s2member page level restriction option that I want for that specific page. I tried it by logging out as admin and then looking at what the page shows (hoping the computer wouldn't recognize me as a logged in member) and noticed that the activity page didn't have the What's up? comment box but the members page did show me the comments I wrote earlier while signed in. I haven't set up the forums yet so I don't know if that would be protected or not just by using the page level restriction option.
What is the best (and easiest) way to protect the buddypress pages for S2members? Just so you know, I'd prefer not to have the members sign in or register for buddypress if they already signed in to access the other protected content. Instead, I'd like the signed in members to be able to access the forums directly.
Thank you in advance.
