PayPal Pro requirement forms

Hi,

I've purchased s2member pro and I had a question.

Do I "have" to have a PayPal pro account to utilize PayPal Pro forms if I don't want members to sign up for PayPal?

Also if you go to:

http://researchfrc.com/frc/option-2/

And try to sign up you get an error message from PayPal. I am assuming that's because I don't have SSL. I am not sure. But I don't know why I would need it if the gateway is going through PayPal.

I just want members to put their info and sign up without having to sign up for PayPal. Let me know if you can help. Thank you.

I created a test account in that page and didn't get an error from PayPal. It may have been a temporary problem with their system. Next time take a screenshot, please.

If you use pro-forms with PayPal Express Checkout, your users will be required to have/create a PayPal account. You need to have PayPal Pro so they're not required a PayPal account, I'm afraid.

Or you can use PayPal buttons, but if you're selling a subscription they will still be required the account unless you have Enhanded Recurring Payments. viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2634
