Site running very slow with S2Member

I have a s2member site that is slow as heck. If I disable s2member, it is fast... is this common? Is there some reason that there is NOCACHE on static pages that arent behind the paywall? I'm sure i'm not the only person with this problem. Is there anyone I could hire from this to make my site run faster? take the longest to load. Sometimes it just says "waiting" and u have to refresh it before it will connect. Thanks.

Hi Joe.

There may be a conflict with another plugin or your theme. If you disable every plugin except s2Member, is the site still slow? With the default theme (e.g. TwentyTen)?

Who is your web host? What versions of WP and s2Member are you running?

Are you using any caching plugin?
