Multisite Blog Farm Configuration Documentation

I've already added
Code: Select all
define("MULTISITE_FARM", true)
into my wp-config.php file but before I go live I wanted to inquire about the full documentation as is stated under the s2 multi-site configuration. How can I get the documentation? Is it included with an official purchase?

Thanks for a great plugin.

Mike

If you go to the Multisite Config button in your control panel, you'll see a link to the Contact us page where you can request that documentation.

Yes, the full documentation for Blog Farms comes with our Network Support Package, which also includes a full licensed copy of s2Member Pro for use on Multisite Blog Farms, the s2Clean Theme, and free installation of s2Member/s2Member Pro on a Multisite Blog Farm: http://www.s2member.com/prices/

Thank you for the responses.

Just so I get it straight, the documentation is only for those who choose to purchase the Network Support Package and not for those who would delve into the multi-site blog farm configuration on their own correct?

I'm sure the Network Support Package is more than worth it, but I, like many others are trying to develop an idea on a shoe string budget and can't afford it currently.

Thank you again.

Hi Jason,

Just to be clear, I ask this because what I'm not sure that what I'm doing really requires the network support package. At OutdoorBlogger.com I will be offering FREE blogs to other outdoor writers but they in turn will not have access to s2 member but will only deal with their blog content. The revenue stream will be in the nature of basic WP support provided by me to bloggers who request a free blog.

That said, if I go ahead and use the free version, is it possible to upgrade to the network support package when I begin seeing some revenue that would allow me to do so?

Thank you for addressing my questions,

Mike

Yes, anytime your site is allowing Users/Members to create Blogs within your Network, we consider that to be a Blog Farm installation ( i.e. each new User creates at least one new Blog in the Network ), regardless of whether you are charging for it or not.

Yes, you can certainly use the free version. If at some point you would like to purchase our Network Support Package, you can upgrade easily; and we'll be happy to assist you in that regard if you need help.

Thank you so much for addressing my questions Jason. Now the cloud has lifted ;-). I definitely intend to upgrade when my funds allow me to do so. This is simply one of the best plugins I've seen and feel fortunate to have come across it.

Best Regards!
