Redirection even after de-installing s2members

hi, i installed s2member,
i also created the welcome-login-page.
however, i realized that the menue did not appear on the left side.
and that my starting page was redirected to the welcome-login-page.

i use the wp theme "roundabout" with a carousel; this is what i still want.

however, even after de-installing s2members, the redirection takes place.
how can i get rid of that and restore the old state?

thanks,
t.

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is yet, you can explain in more detail what you did and what happens, but watch this video regarding Login Welcome Page problems and tell me if it helps: http://www.s2member.com/login-welcome-p ... cts-video/

hi Cristian, thanks for your answer.
i have watched the movie before, but it does not help me/ is not the problem i have.
my general problem is:
- i have installed s2-member
- i watched the movie with the login-welcome-page and created the login-welcome-page
- i realized there were no s2member entries in the menue to the left-hand-side in wordpress (as displayed in your vids)
- i have un-installed s2member
- and now still there is a redirection of my theme (roundabout, from press75) to the login-welcome page.
- i would like to have this redirection removed, since it messes up my homepage.

very appreciating your help, thanks, t.

- also, when i tried to install s2 member,

in the meantime, i updated wp to 3.2.1.
installing s2members then was successful,
and the menu now appears to the left.

how can i set the startpage back to the original? now it is always login-welcome.

Oh, you meat the s2Member navigation in the admin area or WordPress? Got it. Yeah, making sure your installations where complete and up-to-date was the right action. Glad you solved that.

You edit the home page from WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays. Don't set it to the s2Member special pages like Login Welcome Page or Membership Options Page, it can cause conflicts.

I hope that helps.
