Protect SWF Movie

Hello,

I have a SWF movie embedded in one of my protected pages. Because it's stored in the wp-upload folder, if someone knows the URL, they can view the movie without being logged in. I tried to move it to the s2-files directory, but that did not work.

Any suggestions on how I can protect this file from being accessed by the URL?

Thanks as always for your terrific support.

Kelley

Well, I read the online manual and lo and behold, this was a piece of cake!

Hello again,

I put the SWF movie in a protected folder; however, it's not really a download but just content I want displayed when a Level 2 Member or higher is logged in. The movie would not display/load when I put it in a folder (ie. music) beneath my S2Member-Files directory.

Thus, I had to move the SWF movie back to the regular wp-uloads folder, which is now accessible to the world if the URL was known.

Are all items in the S2Member-Files considered "downloads?"

Is there a different approach I need to take so that the movie will play and only when Level 2 or higher is logged in?

Many thanks!

Kelley

Files can be used inline too. WP Admin -> s2Member -> Download Options -> Inline File Extensions
