Protected Files Help

Hello,

I would first like to say how great I think this plug-in. I already have a pro license and am on my second install of this plug-in on another site.

I'm having issues with protected files permissions. I have the path to the file set up correctly and even get the javascript pop up that warns me of the pending download. The issue is that when I click ok it takes me back to the "sign-up" page and the url says the file requires level0 access.

I have tried as an admin, a level0, level1, and level2 user and each time I get redirected to the page that says that level0 is required.

But the rub to all of this is that there is a file that is in the exact same folder with the exact same path the only difference is the file name and that one downloads just fine. I have no clue why one is able to be downloaded and the other isn't.

I've included the link below so that you can check if I have the path correct:
http://www.Youtubemasterysystem.com/ntp ... 0/tmnt.mid

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Also,

Similarly to this. The file that does download fine, when I try and download another file it doesn't seem to register that I have downloaded that first file. The path that particular file is below:

http://youtubemasterysystem.com/ntp?s2m ... af-Hut.mid

Is there something I'm doing wrong? It be must something really simple I've missed in the set up.

If you put them together, you can see the differences:

Code: Select all
http://www.youtubemasterysystem.com/ntp/?s2member_file_download=access-s2member-level0/30/tmnt.mid
http://    youtubemasterysystem.com/ntp ?s2member_file_download=access-s2member-level0/30/Bahay-Kubo-My-Palm-Leaf-Hut.mid

In the first URL, see the www before the domain name and the slash before the question mark? They're not there in the second URL.

I hope that helps.

Thank you very much. That indeed did fix the problem. I knew it was something stupid that I was doing.

All the best

I had the same problem. After reading this post, I noticed that S2 does not like underscores to the file names. I took that out and it worked! Thank you for the help!!

I didn't know about the underscores, but I'm glad you got it working, Eric. :)
