I uploaded the S2membership plugin and configured it. However it's not showing up on the pages I specified. Why??? I set it up to be on my "training" and "member signup" page but no form shows.

Training sends me to Member Signup, and there I see the button with some HTML comments around it. This seems to be a problem with the code's parsing, probably caused by your theme or another plugin.

Could you try installing the TrueEdit plugin and in its settings disable every filter except do_shortcode? https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/trueedit/
