Cumbersom Pro-form - a suggestion

I did purchase the Pro version of s2Member in order to use some of its features. Unfortunately, they end up a bit cumbersome. I am talking about the pro-form mainly, which is required (so far) to use coupons, and such. I know we should not compare, but i stumbled upon one site who uses aMember as a membership software, and one thing i noticed is that everything is neat on the "sales page" as there is only one button, and that button sends you to another page which can then, include all the cumbersom elements for purchasing and more (including discount coupons).

So, although the pro-form is a good idea, and the coupon is also a good idea, may i suggest that they take on a different shape than the current cumbersome pro-forms? In a sales page, a whole pro-form is a lot to include, while a button is slicker, smaller, concise and can easily be customized. In my opinion, this would lead to a higher conversion rate than the full pro-forms.

This is only a suggestion to help users take advantage of the pro-s2Member features.

Thanks for the observation. So the button is basically a link to another page that has the full form?

Yes, th button links to another page, so it "looks" simple on the sales page.

Maybe i found my own solution: create a graphic button to link to another page which would have the pro-form itself. This might work! I'm looking into that.

However, looking at the pro-form, it leads to another question: it asks to "Create a profile". What if the customer is already a member or has already purchased a previous product and already had created a profile? Is that profile for the site registration or the payment billing and the name should match the Paypal account or credit card?

Glad you figured it out, I thought you would. :)

About the pro-form, he won't create a new account if he's logged in to the existing one.

Now just waiting for the answer to another question in a different thread (about paypal setup) before implementing this.
