Life member following end of paypal subscription period?

Is it possible to have S2Member set up with a finite, time limited, subscription on paypal so that if the member cancels before the subscription is complete their membership is terminated, but if the subscription runs its full course they remain members having full access from that moment on?

I'm currently creating content for a drip fed, time limited membership programme running over say 2 years on a small monthly subscription... I would like to have those members that complete the programme remain members so they can benefit from revisions to material and possible future enhancements such as forum access, but for those members that terminate their subscription to be cancelled.

I can't work out easily how to distinguish between a cancellation of a subscription and a natural termination. Any ideas? (Once I'm more active in setting it up I will be more helpful to new enquiries myself I promise :) )

Hi Adam.

At the moment it's not possible to set different behaviors for EOT on cancellation or finishing all the payments. This is something we plan to improve in future releases, but don't have a date for it yet.

One thing you could do for now, is using the Notifications API to send you an email on EOT so you can review if he finished all the payments and then edit his profile to remove the EOT so his access doesn't expire.

Cool, a little manual contact with my accounts won't kill me :) Thanks Cristián
