Can someone tell me whether the Advanced Restriction Downloads is the better of two options to sell downloadable products because it seems it's the one method that controls people from sharing links. The other option for downloading, the Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions, seems to allow for multiple downloads, but I could not tell if it prevented someone from sharing links.

Additionally, it appears that once I create a paypal button for payment, I can use the advanced restriction download option on the download page itself after payment, right?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to protect downloads from users that aren't logged in, like when you sell Specific Post/Pages, the Advanced Download Restrictions would be the right way to do it. :)

That's what I thought. I went ahead and made download pages for each of the items I am selling as products. I did find out that I cannot add anything to those pages, as when I used the html editor, it would not allow anything to be viewed. That's what it said in the training video, so that was not a surprise.

Thanks for the reply!
