Are Pro Forms Mandatory When Using Authorize.net?

Is there an option to have customers be directed to Authorize.net (like PayPal) to make the purchase instead of them making the purchase on my site.

I didn't know you had to have an SSL Certificate to use Authorize.net, so I'd like to know if I have the option of not using one, by simply directing visitors to Authorize.net to finalize their purchase.

If this is possible, then how do I go about generating the Authorize.net Buy Now Button? or link...

Thanks for the excellent question.
The answer to this question is both yes and no. While it IS possible to generate Buttons with Authorize.Net (Simple Checkout), s2Member is NOT integrated with this API, because really it's too simple, and does not allow s2Member to integrate in all the ways it needs to.

You're more than welcome to try it, but I'll warn you ahead of time, you'll probably do a lot of account creation manually, if you go this route. s2Member Pro is integrated with Pro Forms, and does not adapt to (Simple Checkout) methods, at least not yet ( as of s2Member Pro v110815 ).
