s2member pro license authentication built in?

I'd like to purchase the s2member pro but had a question before I purchase. Does it come with a way to turn on or off the ability for it to work? Since I am purchasing the platform, if a client decides to not pay his monthly host fee (as an example), then I could turn it off. Obviously, this would be most relevant if the client is hosting his site elsewhere and not with me.

So does s2member pro have some sort of license owner authentication built in?

okay. How then does the pro version work on unlimited domains compared to the free version if it doesn't authenticate on each install?

Kind of like what wptouch pro plugin does.
