I can't use PDT auto-return Integration. What can I do?

Hi everyone,
I've worked for days setting up my lite S2Membership Plug-In for WP, just to find out that I can't use my existing PayPal account with it. I already have my account integrated with my shopping cart. I talked with PP and they say it's not possible to have two different URLS, not even in the most advance settings they have. So what can I do?

Is there a way to integrate s2Member to my shopping cart?
Or is there a way to use this plug-in with PayPal without PDT auto-return integration?

(I can't use IPN integration because, according to the PP representative, it's EITHER PDT Auto-return OR IPN integration (not both, as one cancels the other) and in either case, my integration with the shopping cart would be scramble.

I have a deadline this week. This is the second membership option I've set up for my WP. If there is ANY way that S2 Membership Plug-in can work, please let me know. I'd love to stay with this rather than try to venture with another that will give me another headache or have the same problem.

PS. I have PayPal Payment Standard and can't change to pro, though changing to pro will not solve this problem according to the PP representative.

Hi, Thanks, Christian,

I read the post. Am I correct in understanding:
1. I don't have to set up the IPN/PDT auto-return in PayPal (even though settings says that it is required, please enable)??
2. Once I use the generated buttons, the temporary IPN routing will happen automatically?
3. The automatic subscription flow will not break and member access will not break.

Hi,
Reading more posts here I became aware that IPN and PDT are determining where the clients land after payment. (I think.) Therefore, if I do not set these variables, then where will the clients land? I'm not a developer and most of the PHP, etc. coding flies right by me, so I need an easy way to do this.
