Adding images from s2member protected folder

Hi!

I am using s2member to protect images from non-members. Everything works but I have encountered an issue that I wonder if it is possible to solve.

Let's say I have downloaded 30 pics via FTP to the protected s2member folder. After that I want to add those pictures to a member page.

Usually I would use the Wordpress feature to insert either images or a gallery of images to a page or post. But when the pictures resides in the s2member protected directory, I can't insert them through usual Wordpress functionality. Currently I have to insert them by adding the url to the page.

I would like to have some more user friendly way to insert those pictures into a page instead of manually adding 30 urls. Is there any solution for this?

Regards

The only thing that comes to mind at the moment would be to create a custom button specifically for s2Member. This would require a large amount of coding which is why, I'm guessing, s2Member has not already implemented this.

So in short, yes. You could create a simpler way to do this, but it would require more work than just adding the URLs.

A way to make it simpler for you now, since you're working with so many files, would be to move them to the uploads folder so WP lets you work with them in its interface to add images. After you're done editing the post, move the files back to the protected dir, copy the HTML code from the editor, put it in a text editor, search the uploads dir and replace with the protected one, copy the updated code and paste it back in the HTML editor. It sounds like a lot of work, but not really, and I believe it's simpler than adding each image manually.

I hope it helps. :)
