CD BuddyPress Avatar Bubble and S2Member

Hi support,

I am using the free member PayPal pro form to offer people who register a free trial at level 1. In doing this I needed to create my own registration page, which is all configured within S2Member, and it works well.

However, the problem I have is with another plugin that I am using, CD BuddyPress Avatar Bubble - http://buddypress.org/community/groups/ ... ar-bubble/ Even though new registration fields that I create with S2Member can be seen and edited under a BuddyPress members profile, any new registration fields created with S2Member do NOT show within CD BuddyPress Avatar Bubble.

It seems that CD BuddyPress Avatar Bubble needs actual xprofile fields to be created in the dashboard for it to work. But it seems that S2Member doesn't create xprofile profile fields in the same way and therefore it doesn't work. Can I do anything with S2Member to get around this as I really need to be able to use both plugins.

Not only that it would be excellent if S2Member was compatible with CD BuddyPress Avatar Bubble so you could use S2Members Constants to show things like membership levels etc within a real-time profile bubble

Thanks for any help? But if this is not possible, can I pay for it to be implemented, a donation or something?

Regards
Rob.

I think this would need to be done on BuddyPress's side, however you could try fiddling with the plugin file itself. Perhaps you could use the s2Member call values inside of the actual plugin's code.

For the benefit of other users that may find this thread, it seems to have been solved here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15168

You could try simple/advanced conditionals, you'll find them under WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> Simple/Shortcode Conditionals for the simple.

And for the advanced WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> Advanced/PHP Conditionals.

Hope this helps :) .

Are you talking about a Skype avatar in your WordPress installation with s2Member or your Skype app?
