Unknown error message traced to S2

Postby scisport » September 18th, 2011, 8:49 pm

We've been trying to figure this one out. Webmaster says this is traced to the S2 plugin. Deactivating isn't an option, as we want to keep S2 for our membership. Can anyone decipher this?

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/fantasy/public_html/index.php:1) in /home/fantasy/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

It's keeping us from getting to the Membership Options Page. We've checked and triple checked the tutorials and all of the pointing, all good. This one has us baffled and in something of a panic. Thanks for the assist, as always.

I'm getting the same error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home8/MYACCOUNT/public_html/DOMAIN-FOLDER/wp-content/plugins/s2member-pro/includes/functions/._api-functions.inc.php:1) in /home8/MYACCOUNT/public_html/DOMAIN-FOLDER/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

Only in my case, the entire site fails to load in Firefox. It will load in Chrome, but with an error across the top of the page.

Everything was fine with s2member. It was after I installed s2member pro that this error appeared.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Shawn

Figured it out... At least in my case, it seems that the problem came from unzipping the s2member pro module on a Mac. The Mac does some funny stuff with the files: http://support.apple.com/kb/TA20578. When I uploaded the zipped file to my host and then used the built-in Extract function in the Control Panel/File Manager, everything worked fine. Don't know if that will solve your problem, scisport, but at least wanted to mention it.

Thanks Snash. I'm glad you solved it. :)

Scisport, does that help you? If not, have you applied a hack to your install? If so, make sure you have no empty spaces/lines outside of your PHP tags.
