How to Create A Monthly Subscriber Member?

Greetings,

This is my first post.
I am writing in requesting help.
I launched my site on friday and I got my first subscriber today!

But there was a small problem.
I designed and tested my site in a temp directory, and moved the live version to the root directory.
I updated all of the URLs except for the PayPal instant payment information. (I have corrected the url).

My problem is when the subscriber's account was created, it was not upgraded to the appropriate subscription level.

How do I give him access manually, and link his account with the monthly billing?

Kindest regards,

Mister Hesbi Ba

I believe entering their PayPal Subscriber ID [in the Browse Members area, click to edit the user] would keep things connected to that user properly. Since you control what the subscriber can see at any time in their membership - Paypal only seeks out the ID and customer info to match the recurring sale.

(my understanding - i'm a fellow s2 customer)

Ok thanks. So I've copied what the pay pal email calls the "PROFILE ID:"
into what S2Member/Wordpress --> User --> Paid Subscr. ID:

The registered on field is still empty, and I believe that is important for monthly subscription charge.

The charge is done by PayPal. You should add "paypal" to the gateway field too. :)
