How should I setup my site so that when users go to
www.mydomain.com? Where should it take them? Should I setup a static page? I'm not sure how most developers set this up.

when i type my domain..www.vgs2.com it reroutes to my hosting company instead of going to wordpress

I tried
http://www.vgs2.com/ and it didn't redirect me anywhere, it has a big image that says "members enter here". Looks like it's working.
