"Service unavailable" message with protected file download
Posted: January 9th, 2011, 7:16 pmI've been trying to get the Protected File download function to work, yet I'm getting a "The service is unavailable" error when I click on the link to the file.
S2Member instructed me to upload my files to the following directory on my server:
\weightologyweekly\wp-content\plugins\s2member-files
...which I did. The directory was already there when I FTPed into my site. I uploaded the files to that section. S2member then gave me the following link:
http://weightology.net/weightologyweekl ... e-file.zip
I replaced "example-file.zip" with the actual file name. However, when I click on the link (or cut and paste it in my browser), I get the following error message:
"The service is unavailable"
I am with Godaddy as my host, and using Wordpress version 3.0.4 and S2Member version 3.3.2.
I've done web searches and searches of the forum but have not seen this error reported by anyone.
