I have been working on this all day and have read all the posts I could find here and can't fix this.

I am using s2m + paypay subscription button + aweber for list membership and delivery of a newsletter.

Paypal Subscription button works, then they receive a Paypal confirmation and a second one saying they have set up recurring payments. I also am notified.

Then they are redirected to my Member Welcome Page.

I am missing how to send them the registration page.

I tried to change my Welcome Page into a registration page by placing the registration link on it, and that worked, but then they come back to the same page again...

I also have no idea why they are not being put into my list with Aweber. I did set the Parsing. Is there a sequence to this? Did I have to be sure I set the Parsing before creating the button?

Any assistance is appreciated.

If the checkout were working properly, the user would be taken to the registration page right after payment and s2Member would also send a confirmation email with a registration link. You didn't mention those, so they may not be happening and that'd mean a problem somewhere, which would also explain why they aren't being added to the email list.

Could you please post, x'ing out any private info, the log entries related to a transaction with that problem? WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options -> Account Details -> Enable Logging

Yes, I meant that they were not being taken to the registration page.

I am getting this error from Paypal:

If you are the site owner, please check the custom value in your Button Code. It MUST start with your domain name.

Where do I change the "custom value in your Button Code" setting?

I wanted to add that I created the Paypal button within Paypal, because I couldn't do a "Subscribe" one on s2M. I read something about the shortcode having to match with http://www., but Paypal didn't generate a shortcode.

I also checked my WP settings and my website setting does use the www.

I see. You can generate the PayPal button using s2Member's button generators. http://www.s2member.com/paypal-options-buttons-video/
