is there anything that I can do to prevent new user signups from specific domains/TLD's?
could apply to several situations, but the one I'm dealing with is a user that is using mailinator (.com) to prevent us getting their email address when they register for the site, which is part of the terms of service on our site.
this isn't urgent, but if there's a way you can think of would be good to know.
thanks.

Hi.
I am pretty certain you can add the domain name to your wordpress list of 'banned' words and phrases, check under wp general or there a bouts.
I am also pretty sure s2m allows you to ban certain addressees too, in the panel where you can list to prevent emails starting with info, admin and the like.
Sorry I can't be more specific...

No, s2Member doesn't have a feature for that. You can have a blacklist of addresses but for the name part (before the @), not the domain (I just tried it).
WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Custom Registration -> Force Personal EmailsThis plugin seems to be for that
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/us ... whitelist/ but I don't know if it works with the current release of WordPress. Let us know how it goes.

Did this function ever get looked at by S2 dev team? I have a similar need where-by I want people to use company domains and not free ones like hotmail, gmail, yahoo etc.. I can enforce this through other plugins but then I'm handing registration back to WP and I'd ideally like to keep all within S2?
