Mailchimp integration - missing fields

Postby bethperkins » September 20th, 2011, 10:29 pm

I want to send my users a message when their free trial is ready to expire. I understand that Mailchimp is the best way to do this. I integrated Mailchimp with S2Member and extracted and loaded all my users onto Mailchimp. These initial users have all data fields on Mailchimp. The users that have been added through the automatic integration (those that have subscribed since I integrated Mailchimp) only have four fields in Mailchimp - first name, last name, email and format.

Why don't the other fields load automatically and how can I get the Auto-EOT date into Mailchimp so that I can send out reminders?

I looked at the Mailchimp API log and there are no errors but I don't see a field that looks like Auto-EOT in the records

s2Member won't add the EOT time to their MailChimp profiles by default, so that won't be in the MailChimp log. Have you created a customization to do this?

No I haven't. Can you please point me in the right direction to create this customization?

There's a hack to save custom capabilities as MailChimp merge fields. This could help you create one to save custom registration fields or the EOT. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10148&p=20994#p20994

Here's the s2Member code documentation: viewforum.php?f=40

If you need assistance from a developer, you can try here: viewforum.php?f=37

I hope this helps. :)
