Outside link to protected page question

This is such a cool plugin, can't believe it's free.

My question: I have some forms on protected pages that users fill out. After submitting the form the user receives an autoresponse email that has direct links to some protected pages.

After some days have passed and the user is logged out if he wants to click on that email link to a protected page the member will be directed to my membership signup page, and not a login form to view that page.

Is there a way to have the already signed up member to be directed to a login page that in turn redirects him to that protected page instead of being directed to the member sign up page?

For instance this page link in the user's email http://carcapitalist.com/member-access/help-sections/

is converted to this link when that user is not signed in: http://carcapitalist.com/register/?s2me ... evel_req=1

which shows just the member signup page. This latter link I think should be a login page by default that after logging in the user is redirected to the sought-after page.

Maybe there is an option for this that I cannot find?

By default s2Member acts this way...
You can put a login link in the signup page (or a login widget) so that users that are logged out can sign without going to the login page.

As to how to do that here's the link:

Hope this helps :).

Thanks for the kudos! :)

Yes, what Eduan said is correct.

If the user isn't logged in when he wants to view the protected page, he'll always be sent to the Membership Options Page with those variables at the end of the URL. You can either offer him to purchase access to the page or to login if he already has an account with that access.

You can use those variables to customize the message you give him, or to customize where to send him after login. WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> Membership Options Page / Variables
