Remove "we accept paypal" only in the registration form

Postby undergroundtalent » September 25th, 2011, 9:16 am

Hi Guys

We are currently setting up a payment site and users testing the system are becoming confused at the point of registration when we SAY they can pay by credit or VISA debit card but the form shows only PAYPAL and all the other payment options greyed out. We want to explain at the top how they can pay via paypal (but use their credit card/debit card.)

Can someone confirm where we can find the source code for this part of the form (see image below) so that we can remove it and provide non-confusing instructions for the customer to continue with their transaction?

Cheers

Michelle

Are you re using one of the s2member ProForms with Standard PayPal Account? If that is the case, the behavior you are seeing makes sense. If you want to take creditcard payments you can only use buttons and Buy Now type transactions.
If you want more payment flexibility you will need to look into a PayPal Pro account or at least the recurring payments option.

If that is not the case and you have a PayPal Pro account, some more specifics on your settings are needed

Hope that helps... DP
