Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to make a site where customers can log in and they can see different content depending on their user name or id which can be updated from the admin panel. Is this possible in the pro version?

It's possible with the free version too.

You could use custom capabilities, or simply check their username in a conditional. WP admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> Shortcode/Simple Conditionals and s2Member PHP/API Constants
