front end file browsing

i have tried multiple plugins to facilitate front end browsing and selection of files in the protected downloads folder with limited success. i need my members to be able to browse the file structure and select the files they wish to download. i do not have separate folders for each membership level because i am limiting the number of downloads per membership level but there are no restrictions on which files they have access to. any suggestions?

If you want to limit what files they have access to, even if they're at the same level, I suggest you take a look at using custom capabilities. WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> Custom Capability & Member Level Files
