Restricting Plugins & Themes To Different Levels

Postby scott74 » October 10th, 2011, 11:01 am

Is there an easy way to do this.... I have a blogfarm where people who register for my site automatically get a blog created... Depending on the level of membership that they sign up at, I want them to have access to certain plugins and themes and even certain features of a particular plugin..

Can a moderator or someone post instructions on how to do this...

Also, i asked this somewhere else but is it necessary to purchase the network package to make s2 work correctly if running a multi site blogfarm?

I am going to be upgrading to pro soon after I figure everything out and need to know if it is necessary to purchase the network package also..

Users who register will not be using s2 member themselves... I will only be using it to control membership site wide in the blogfarm.

Thanks for help and please be specific as you can on the first question of restricting plugins and themes based on membership... I want this to happen on auto pilot after setup when users create there blogs..

Thanks Scott

Yes, you need a special version of s2Member Pro for a blogfarm, you'll find at the end of the link I'm giving you the link to buy the "MS Network Support License + s2Clean Theme ( all inclusive )" version, that supports blog farms.

Yeah, that's considered a blog farm because your users will have blogs, and the Pro license you should get is the Network one, as Eduan mentioned. http://www.s2member.com/prices/

About the plugins question: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1414

I hope this helps. :)
