Hey guys. s2Member v2.9.2 has just been released, specifically to fix this elusive bug.
You can grab a copy of s2Member v2.9.2 here:
http://www.primothemes.com/post/s2membe ... th-paypal/
Or upgrade through the Plugins menu in your WP Dashboard.
= Changelog for v2.9.2 =
When Jason posted this message in 2010, he stated there was a fix for the Unable to verify POST vars. However, in 2011, the problem still exists. I cannot believe that more people aren't experiencing this issue. Maybe they have decided to use another solution. I am not a programmer and it doesn't make any sense to me to have to find my php.ini and make modifications. If a bug was detected and a fix was released, where is it?
I am so disappointed because everything was working just fine until we had to test the purchase process. Even though the payments went through, and the client received the email with the link for download, the Unable to verify $_Post vars message is alarming. Please tell me there is a fix other than having to change anything in my php.ini (which I can't find anyway).
