Just as the subject states, is any of the s2Member php code encoded?

I just learned that the MagicMembers plugin is almost completely open. Only the payment and autoresponder modules are encrypted. This raises a flag since you never know whats within the encryption. I don't want them extracting any information via email or something.

Your worry is that if everything is encrypted or encoded?
What do you mean with "encoded"?

Thought both would have the same meaning. I don't want to see encoded/encrypted php files within any of the plugins that I install. I don't want to find out that my members emails or account information is being sent to various emails without my knowledge.

Thanks for bringing this thread to my attention.

I assume you're referring to IonCube, ZendGuard, etc.
No, none of the code in s2Member, or in s2Member Pro, has been encoded in any way.
