Dynamic field generation or Multiple form creation

Postby bazchas » October 26th, 2011, 11:03 am

1)How to create multiple forms in s2member. Each form will have different custom fields.

Like form1 will have fields like "school name" and "college name"
and
form2 will have "movie name" and "actor name"

so that I can call any form according to my need.
=======================================================================

2)How to generate or add custom fields dynamically based on the type of subscription or membership.
Like trial member and paid member

like for trial member: field2 will not be shown
but for paid member : field 2 will be shown

field 1 is common for both.

How to make it?

You can specify what level the custom registration field will be shown to when you create it. WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Registration/Profile -> Add/Edit Field -> Applicable Membership Levels

I hope that helps. :)

Thanks a lot Cristián , for your help....
Just in case if , I want to put it like this.... Like level1 has trial and paid membership.... I will be using a custom field "phone no". So I dont want to show that field "phone no" for trail members at level 1. But I would like to show the field "phone no" for paid members at level 1.

Please suggest me how to do this

Thanks for the heads up on this thread.

So sorry, that's not possible in the current release. Custom Registration/Profile Fields are assigned, based on Level# only ( i.e. based on what you type in here ).

The Card Start Date, and/or Issue Number, should ONLY be displayed when/if they are required ( i.e. if a Customer is paying with a Maestro/Solo card ). The reason they're showing up on your site, is because there seems to be a JavaScript error in another area of your site, which is causing side effects.

s2Member's Pro Forms are acting funny on my site, why?
Check your WordPress® theme. Make sure it is NOT introducing any JavaScript errors on the Post/Page. s2Member's Pro Forms require some mild interaction with JavaScript routines; which are self-installed by the s2Member Pro Module. However, if your theme ( or other plugins ) introduce JavaScript errors/warnings, those can ( and will ) prevent s2Member's routines from succeeding.
