Paypal Integration

Hello and thanks for taking a minute to read my post.
I am currently using a custom WP theme and I already have a paypal gateway set up to allow users to post ads. I want to use S2member to restrict some of the ads to basic users and charge a monthly membership to others for access to this. I'm wondering if setting up the additional gateway through S2member will cause any conflicts with my existing gateway?

On a different note:
My theme provides custom posts, with custom categories and S2members, restrict categories, doesn't seem to identify the custom category ids. Is there a way to allow for this? I believe it currently searches for $categories and I need it to look for $project_cats. Any thoughts other than rewriting the file? Thanks, Kevan

No, adding another gateway should not cause a conflict. :)

I'll ask Jason about the custom categories, but have you tried adding a tag to the posts in the category and use the tags restriction instead? WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Tag

Thanks for the heads up.

Please take a look at this thread. I went into some detail on this a few days ago.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the great info. Yes, paypal seems to work flawlessly and I had read the other post, before posting my question, but you added a bit more since I posted. It looks like your next release will be exactly what the doctor ordered! I just want to say that you guys are great and I and I'm sure many, many others truly appreciate your devotion and professionalism with regard to your products. Thank you sincerely, Kevan :D
