I'm using a quiz plugin to run a test for students and upon successful completion of the quiz, I'd like to add a custom capability to that user to make additional content available.

Has anyone done this? Is it possible using API...?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Bump this topic...I have a similar situation and would love to accomplish the same thing!

You can add a custom capability the way you'd add a WordPress capability, just prefix it with access_s2member_ccap_, if I remember correctly.
