Hello,
The login widget for S2 member has disappeared in my admin panel as well as on the site; I'm using a text login right now, which doesn't have the same appearance. Was this deleted in an update? I went through all the sections and I can't find it. I don't have the new version, but the one right before it.

Well, it looks like the Pro version I had installed is gone I did send an email, but I'm thinking that reloading S2 member would mess up all the members I have set up under authorize. I've got a promotion going on tomorrow, this was a bad time for all not to be working. All of my gateway options are gone... my authorize forms aren't there anymore. I'm a little blah over this. The members are still there with their subscriber IDs... just thought I would get an opinion while I'm waiting for support (If you have a minute).

When/if you upgrade the free version of s2Member ( i.e. the s2Member Framework ), this will also require that you upgrade your s2Member Pro installation too. If you don't, the functionality provided by s2Member Pro will be missing, because the Framework will NOT load an incompatible version of the Pro Module. You should get a notice about this inside your Dashboard, at the top of your plugins panel. If not, then just log into your account at s2Member.com, grab the latest version of both s2Member and s2Member Pro. Follow these instructions for upgrading please. viewtopic.php?f=36&t=247

When I update, I do so from the dashboard in wp. Is updating from the panel not updating the PRO... I'm confused about this now.

I go to the plugins in my dashboard, press update go to s2Member options and it asks me the password for the Pro version, and it works.

Yes, that's what I have been doing. I guess it didn't work the last time! The widget was missing about a month ago, I've been swamped and didn't have time to look at it until now.

OK, well just if it happens again make sure it was installed.

Whenever WordPress updates any of your plugins, it first deletes the entire plugin directory, and then adds the new version of the plugin to replace the one old. If an error occurred during your update, it could have left you without the s2Member Pro Module at all. No warnings then, because s2Member Pro is then completely gone. The only solution in that case is to re-install s2Member Pro via FTP.

Your settings/configuration should remain intact,
but the s2Member Pro files need to be updated to the latest version, that's all.

Might I add that you should use Deactivation Safeguards under WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Deactivation Safeguards.

Thanks for the reminder, I did read the doc before updating, it was already set correctly. I think this is just going to make me cautious about updating...
